Valencia Living
Located in the Santa Clarita Valley, about 30
minutes north from the heart of Los Angeles, the City of
Valencia stretches 200 square miles and is surrounded by three
different mountain ranges. A relatively new town, being less

market in Valencia is comprised of mainly single-family detached

$600,000. Larger estate properties with five or more bedrooms and

Valencia runs through several school districts
including the Newhall Elementary District, Saugus Union Elementary,
and William S. Hart Union High.
Newcomers to the area will enjoy a relatively
moderate climate with summer temperatures ranging from 75 to 100
degrees, and average winters ranging between 40 to 65 degrees. The
city’s sunny climate lets residents enjoy the outdoors all year
long. A wide assortment of recreational activities can also found
within the area.
Valencia is well known for its paseos that wind
through the city offering residents quiet walks and jogs. These
paseos are also used for biking, rollerblading, and skateboarding.
Also in
Valencia is Six Flags Magic Mountain, which provides fun and
entertainment for the whole family. Kids can visit with Warner
Brother’s characters, play video games, and engage in other fun
activities while adults zoom and zip through the winding turns and
cascades of various high speed roller coasters. The entire themed
amusement park holds over 15 adult roller coasters and over 30
smaller sized coasters and rides for the younger visitors. Also next
door to Magic Mountain is Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, a water park
for all ages to enjoy during sticky summer days.
Golf enthusiasts will find great pleasure at the
Tournament Players Club in Valencia. This championship golf course
offers an approximate 27,000 sq. ft. clubhouse for golf enthusiasts.
Also located within the premises is the natural Oak Preserve which
spans 150 acres. A private recreation center which includes a junior
Olympic pool, wading pool, spa, BBQ and event lawn is also provided
for residents. Paseos within the community provide easy connections
throughout the neighborhood with an extensive 28-mile system
including trails within the Oak Preserve.
